Lucy Davis marries at St Paul's

The Office star weds the actor she met in LA

On Saturday comedian Jasper Carrott OBE, 61, proudly gave away daughter Lucy Davis to actor Owain Yeoman at London’s St Paul’s cathedral.

The bride and groom, both 33, met when Lucy – who played receptionist Dawn in Ricky Gervais’ hit comedy series The Office – moved to California to look for work.

Lucy received a kidney transplant from her mum Hazel in 1997 and was also diagnosed with diabetes, After losing a lot of weight last year, she collapsed on Christmas Day with a mystery illness.

Now she’s fine and looking forward to married life with Welsh-born Owain.

Office co-stars Martin Freeman, 35, Mackenzie Crook, 35, and Joel Beckett, 29, were among the well-wishers.

The reception certainly didn’t run short of champagne. Dad Jasper recently made more than £10 million when he sold his shares in the company behind TV quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
