Britney Spears apologises for going commando
Britney Spears has apologised to her fans for her recent run of flashing.
The 25-year-old mother-of-two, who has been partying almost non-stop since splitting from husband Kevin Federline last month, has admitted she may have gone too far after being caught not wearing pants on four separate occasions.
In a statement on her official website, Britney says: 'I probably did take my new found freedom a little too far. Anyway, thank God for Victoria's Secrets' new underwear line!'
The singer - who has two sons with Kevin, 15-month old Sean Preston and three-month-old Jayden James - admits she got carried away after being a stay-at-home mother for so long.
'It's been so long since I've been out on the town with friends,' she says. 'It's been two years since I've even celebrated my birthday. Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected.'
The pop superstar is now keen to get back to work and start making music again.
She adds: 'I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me. I'm just getting started!'
