Geri: Spice Girls didn't reunite because of Mel B

Geri Halliwell says failure to perform at Live8

Geri Halliwell says the Spice Girls didn't reunite for last year's Live8 because Mel B wasn't ready.

And the 34-year-old, who has a six-month-old daughter Bluebell Madonna, reckons the band may have missed their chance for a reunion.

'We were all ready apart from Mel B,' she says.

Now Geri just wants to focus on being a mum - for a while, at least.

'Maybe it's better to keep the Spice Girls as a memory but never say never,' she reveals. A taxi driver said to me we could still do a reunion even if one of us didn't want to do it.'
