Chris Tarrant won't be home for Christmas

Estranged wife Ingrid says leave presents at the door

Ingrid Tarrant has banned her love-cheat husband from the family Yuletide celebrations.

She says: 'He can just drop the presents off at the doorstep and leave.'

Ingrid, 52, is planning on spending a quiet Christmas at home with her children Samantha, 17, and Toby 14.

And she admits she doesn't want to see – or hear – the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire star.

She tells the Sun: 'It's like going through a bereavement. You can't resurrect the dead and you can't resurrect a dead relationship.

'I can't even bear to hear his voice. It's been a really difficult time. I have a very positive outlook on life, but I still have good days and bad days.'

Ingrid found out earlier this year that 60-year-old Chris had been having an affair with teacher Fiona McKenzie, 50.
