Dame Edna to star with Kylie Minogue
If you thought the lilac-haired Melbourne pensioner was ready to stay at home tending her gladioli, forget it.
After a popular performance at the Prince’s Trust 30th birthday celebrations early this year, Comedian Barry Humphries, 72, is back as Dame Edna Everage in a new ITV1 show for 2007.
It’s rumoured Kylie Minogue and Jude Law have already agreed to be guest stars so pre-production plans are looking good.
‘Dame Edna was brilliant at the Prince’s Trust event,’ an insider told The Daily Express. ‘It goes to show age is never a barrier to glamour.’
