Nelly Furtado: I turned down Playboy

Singer decided not to pose nude....yet

Nelly Furtado has revealed she once turned down a £300,000 offer to pose nude in Playboy.

The singer admits she was flattered when she got the call from the infamous glossy, owned by Hugh Hefner, and seriously considered stripping off in the publication's pages.

But Nelly eventually decided keep her clothes on – for now.

She tells MTV: 'It was tempting. It almost plays on your vanity. But I like to save a little bit for the bedroom...

'But that's not to say that I would never do it. As a pop star, people would love to see you naked every day.'

The 27-year-old star, who is currently single and has a daughter Nevis, three, admits she's blossomed as she's got older.

'For me, I am a late bloomer. I have grown into my sexuality,' she says. 'My videos are real expressive and I get to channel a lot of energies,including sensual energy. I'm pretty satisfied.'
