Vicar of Dibley weds

Dawn French's character marries Sir Guy of Gisborne

The Vicar of Dibley will tie the knot this Christmas when she weds a star of Robin Hood.

In the last ever episode of the popular comedy series, Dawn French's character will marry a posh village newcomer called Harry.

And Harry will be played by Richard Armitage - the actor who plays Sherwood's Sir Guy of Gisborne.

It's not the only TV appearance Dawn will be making this Christmas. She will guest in a two part Little Britain special along with Ronnie Corbett and Peter Kay.
