Elton John will be paid $1m for singing for an hour at a tycoon's birthday bash.
Andrew Reynolds, who made his fortune selling self-help DVDs, will pay around £10,000 a minute for the star to serenade him and his guests at his 50th birthday party.
The total fee for the gig at Surrey's Hampton Court Palace on Thursday will be £527,000.
An insider tells The Sun: 'Andrew loves to act the big fish and wanted a birthday to remember.'
