New Bond breaks box office records
Daniel Craig can breathe a well-earned sigh of relief - Casino Royale raked in a massive £1.7million on its opening night at cinemas nationwide.
The huge sum is the biggest earner of any Bond opening night, beating Die Another Day in 2002, which hauled in £1.1million.
And, it seems, every young lad wants to be like Daniel as Bond toy sales have surged.
Toys R Us stores around the country have been emptied out of the remote controlled version of 007's cool car the Aston Martin DBS, seeing sales triple in the last few days.
A spokeswoman for the store tells The Sun: 'The reaction from kids has been incredible. If our sales are anything to go by, Daniel Craig has cetainly captured the nation's imaginations.'
