Sven Goran Eriksson offers Nancy £500,000

Former England coach doesn't want ex to blab

Sven Goran Eriksson has reportedly offered old flame Nancy Dell'Olio just £500,000 to keep tight-lipped about their romance.

And it's claimed the fiery Italian is less than happy with the offer.

The pair dated for eight years but split in 2005 after Sven, 53, was caught playing away one too many times.

Now he'd prefer that Nancy, 47, doesn't spill the beans about their relationship, but friends have warned the footballer manager that he'll have to shell out at least £1 million.

One insider told The News Of The World: 'He is determined to hold out for less and has offered her £500,000, but so far she's not budging.'

Considering Sven's still being paid £13,000 a day by the FA until he finds another job, he should have plenty of spare change knocking about.

Sven and Nancy are now dating new partners - Nancy has been seen with Italian TV star Michele Cucuzza, 53, and Sven has found love with Swedish PR girl Katarina Huss, 43.
