Isabella and Connor in Italy for Dad's big day

Tom’s adopted children Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11 – who he adopted with second wife Nicole Kidman – were both in Italy to see their dad get married.

Isabella was a bridesmaid, along with Tom’s three sisters, and Connor was a groomsman.

The best man was Cruise's best friend David Miscavige, the US head of Scientology, and the matron of honour was Katie' sister Nancy.

Celebrity guests included Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, John Travolta, Jim Carrey, Brook Shields and Victoria Beckham.

At the reception, the wedding party tucked into a five-tiered white chocolate wedding cake.

Opera singer Andrea Bocelli sang Shubert's Ave Maria 'as a gift' and there was a celebratory fireworks display.
