Jacko fails to turn up for trip to Madame Tussauds
Tuesday, 14 November 2006
With his ghostly white skin and finely sculpted features Michael Jackson could practically be a waxwork.
So perhaps it was the fear of being mistaken for one that deterred him from making a trip to top London tourist attraction Madame Tussauds last night.
The 48-year-old singer, who's currently staying in the capital, had arranged for a special visit after the doors had closed to the public.
But instead he chose to stay in his hotel room.
A source from Madame Tussauds told the Daily Mirror: 'Everyone at the museum was excited that a music legend was coming. They had prepared and were staying after work to ensure he and his children had what they wanted.
'But at the last minute there was a call saying he had better things to do. A lot of the staff were very upset.'
