The boys in Eton road and baby-faced Ray Quinn auditioned together for a showbiz agency in Liverpool before they were selected for X Factor.
And talent spotters at the Colette Fenlon agency, who were putting the lads through their paces, thought about including 18-year-old Ray in the band's line-up.
