Take That's Howie: We don't want Robbie back

Ex-bandmate says he's no longer interested in reunion

Take That

Throughout their sell-out comeback tour, Take That are reported to have left a spare mic on stand-by – just in case Robbie wanted to join them on stage.

And although the 32-year-old never bothered to show up, it looks as if it's his former bandmates who've had the last laugh.

While Robbie faces legal action over controversial lyrics – and has pulled the plug on the Asian leg of his tour because of exhaustion – Take That are going from strength to strength.

The group feel they are doing well as they are and Howard Donald has even said he wouldn't have Robbie Williams back.

'To let someone in when you don't know what's going on in their head is not a good idea,' he tells The Sun.

'If we have big success with this album - really big success - then to let him back when we don't know him any more would be a mistake.

'The others may have some opinions on this but I don't think we need him.'
