Nicole Appleton: Richard and Judy helped me give birth

Singer tells how she had baby while watching daytime TV

All Saints singer Nicole Appleton says having her son Gene was 'the easiest birth ever'.

In fact Gene's dad Liam Gallagher, 34, was the only problem, because he stuck his head in front of the telly.

Nicole, 31, had her little boy, now five, in July 2001 and recalls: ‘All I remember is telling him [Liam] to get out of the way of the TV because I was trying to watch Richard and Judy.’

In an interview with Observer Woman, Nicole also reveals how she wished Liam could experience the miracle of bringing new life into the world.

‘Any man is missing out on a moment like that,’ she says. ‘I felt like Wonder Woman.’
