Girls Aloud meet Santa at Harrods

Yes, it's only 4 November but Father Christmas is already here

Father Christmas arrived at Harrods in Knightsbridge, London, at 8am this morning - followed by Girls Aloud.

Santa brought his reindeer and sleigh but the girls pitched up in 1950s pink Cadillacs.

Chairman Mohamed Al Fayed welcomed his celebrity guests with a festive parade and a flurry of fake snow.

Girls Aloud – Sarah Harding, 24, Nicola Roberts, 21, Kimberley Walsh, 24, Nadine Coyle, 21, and Cheryl Cole, 23 – were making a special appearance to launch their new greatest hits album. Fans queued to get their copies of the CD signed by the girls.

Santa now takes up residence in Father Christmas World until Christmas Eve.
