Chantelle Houghton: I blew my CBB winnings on clothes

Reality TV star spent £25,000 prize on new outfits

Celebrity Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton spent her £25,000 winnings splashing out on new clothes.

And she claims that she had no choice but to hit the shops because she never had the chance to load her washing machine.

The poor lamb was so pressed for time with her work commitments, her laundry piled up. But fortunately she still managed to make space for visits to Topshop.

‘The money went in three months,’ the 23-year-old told The Daily Mirror. ‘Because I was so busy I never had any clean clothes. So instead of washing clothes I was just buying them!

‘And because there was so much attention on me and I was being photographed every day, I had to be wearing something different every day.’
