Joe Swash set his mum's kitchen on fire
EastEnders star Joe Swash set fire to his mum's kitchen and wrecked Christmas for his family.
The actor, who plays Mikey Miller in the soap, started the blaze at his mother's North London home by accidentally leaving candles burning on Christmas Eve.
And his family, who were sitting in the living room, didn't realise what had happened until they smelt smoke.
The fire caused thousands of pounds worth of damage and wrecked the table, fittings and blackened the walls.
A spokesman for Joe, 24, said the incident had been a 'complete accident.'
