Lily Allen reunited with her missing pet

Singer coughs up reward for lost dog

Lily Allen has been reunited with her stolen dog - English Bull Terrier Maggie May.

The singer, who thinks a gang snatched her precious pet while she was out on a walk, offered a £500 reward for her safe return.

And even though Lily was reluctant to stump up the cash in fear that it was encouraging the dog nappers, she felt she had no choice.

'She is riddled with fleas, a bit sad and very thin,' Lily, 21, says. 'Some people have been speculating that because she's thin and had fleas she must have run away.

'But Maggie was tied up and in her cage in the back of a van on the day she went missing. She could not have escaped - she was definitely stolen.'

The incident is now being dealt with by the police and the RSPCA.
