US singer Meatloaf has revealed he's particularly sensitive about his size.
The 59-year-old rocker - who's had hits such as Bat Out of Hell and I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) - reveals that he's really weight conscious.
He told US Blender magazine: 'My real name is Marvin, and Levi's had a commercial on the radio that said, "Poor fat Marvin can't wear Levi's". And I was fat. It nearly destroyed me. I'm still not over it.
'The closest I've come to skinny was on South Park. I told them the only way they could use me was if they drew me skinny. So they did.'
Meatloaf – real name Marvin Lee Aday – is about to embark upon a world tour to promote his latest release, Bat Out Of Hell III, which hits shops on 31 October.
