Victoria Beckham's jeans split

Posh ends her US jeans deal and goes it alone

Victoria Beckham has split with jeans designer Rock and Republic to go it alone with her own jeans firm.

The Californian-based company signed a £250,000 deal with Posh in September 2004, but will no longer produce the Spice Girl's VB range.

Instead Victoria, 32, has decided to launch her own designer jeans under the label VDB - the brand she owns with her husband David, 31.

A fashion source told the Sunday Mirror: 'Rock and Republic gave Victoria her big break in the fashion business. They were the financial safety net when she launched the range.

'But Victoria's jeans are hugely popular. So now she's decided to get rid of the middle man.'
