Millwall footballer says relationship in tatters

Jamelia's boyfriend Darren Byfield has claimed his relationship with Jamelia has been on shaky ground for a while.

The Millwall footballer, 30, has confessed to blazing rows with the singer.

'Darren has been telling pals that they've been unhappy for six months and are rowing constantly,' an aquaintance told The Daily Mirror. 'He says they argue about everything, particularly him going partying with the Millwall lads.'

The footballer - who's been seen in the company of a blonde model recently according to The News Of The World – celebrated his 30th birthday last week at London's Paper club.

Jamelia, 25, organised the bash but Darren reportedly spent the entire evening chatting to other women.

Only last week, the singer declared in an interview: 'If Darren ever cheated on me, I would chop his b***s off.'

Last night her spokesman said: 'No comment. Jamelia's not ready to talk.'
