Jamie Oliver's pestered for diet tips after dressing up in fat suit

US viewers think chef used miracle weight-loss plan

American viewers are pestering Jamie Oliver for diet tips after he dressed up in a fat suit to promote his new series.

The chef, 31, donned the outfit as part of a trailer for Jamie's Return To School Dinners.

But fans in the States – who don't know that Jamie's always kept himself trim – are convinced he really did balloon in size and are desperate to find out how he shed the stones.

'They really thought I'd been on some miracle diet,' says Jamie. 'I got lots of calls and emails from the US asking me how I lost all the weight.'
