Simon Cowell sees Noel Edmonds’ talent

Pair in talks for Deal Or No Deal star to host new ITV1 show

Noel Edmonds is set to cap-off his triumphant TV comeback by hosting Simon Cowell’s new ITV primetime talent show.

The Deal Or No Deal presenter, 57, is in top-secret talks with Simon to host Got Talent.

The brainchild of Simon Cowell, the format of the series is already a huge success in America and will launch in the UK on ITV1 next year.

For the British version of Got Talent, 46-year-old Simon will join judges Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff to comment on contestants with a wide-range of entertaining acts.

A TV insider told The Sun: ‘Simon and Noel have had a number of meetings – it’s all very hush hush. Noel’s the man of the moment, so it would be a real coup to get him on the show.’

A spokesman for Simon failed to comment on the news.
