Titanic star says Gervais broke wind on Extras set to put her off

Kate Winslet says starring in Extras was one of the highlights of her career - even though the show's star Ricky Gervais tried to put her off.

The 30-year-old Titanic star says the comedian broke wind on set in an attempt to distract her.

She says: 'I think that was one of the best things I have ever done in terms of experience. It was just so hilarious. Absolutely eye-watering hysterical. I don't think I ever got through a take without peeing myself laughing.

'Ricky Gervais is dreadful because he tries to f**k you up. He'll fart in the middle of a scene and he won't crack a smile.'
