Dale Winton to host Supermarket Sweep: The comeback

Hold on to your trolleys

Daytime show Supermarket Sweep made Dale Winton the star he is today.

So it's no surprise to hear he's interested in hosting the comeback.

TV chiefs have confirmed they're thinking of bringing back the cult show which was last on our screens five years ago.

A spokeswoman for TalkbackThames has said they are in discussions with ITV about making a new series of the programme which saw contestants fill their trolleys with goodies from the supermarket shelves.

And a friend of Dale Winton, who now presents the National Lottery, has told The Sun he thinks the star would be interested in making the new series.
