Victoria Beckham attends Elle's son's christening

Posh steps out in style for an outing to church

Dolled up in a little black dress, Posh could be heading out for a night on the town.

But the former Spice Girl was instead on her way to church.

Wearing a flouncy frock, not unlike the ballerina numbers she's been sporting over the past fortnight, Victoria Beckham attended Elle Macpherson's son's christening in Rome.

Three-year-old Aurelius Cy is Elle's son from her nine year marriage to business tycoon Arpad Busson. The couple split up in June 2005.

Other well-wishers at the historic Santa Maria Maggiore church on Saturday included Jemima Khan and Pierre Casiraghi, the younger son of Princess Caroline of Monaco.
