Bradley Walsh: Debra and I are not together

Corrie stars deny affair with Debra Stephenson

Debra Stephenson and Bradley Walsh have spoken out after claims in the press that they're having an affair.

It was reported that they fell for each other during filming of Coronation Street.

Bradley, 46, who plays Danny Baldwin in the soap, has insisted that he is still 'very much in love' with his wife, Donna.

Debra, 34, who plays Danny's estranged wife in the show, Frankie, is also married. She and her husband James are expecting their second child.

Max Clifford, who represents both stars, says: ‘They met at a charity golf event I held in Marbella in aid of the Rhys Daniels Trust about five years ago.

‘They became friends and it was actually Bradley's wife Donna who suggested Debra would be perfect to play his wife in Coronation Street.

‘They have spent a lot of time working together and have become very close but they have not had an affair.'
