Social services investigation dropped
Saturday, 11 November 2006
Pregnant Kerry Katona, 26, is reported to be relieved that a social services investigation into the welfare of her two daughters – Molly, five, and Lilly-Sue, three – has been dropped.
The ex-Atomic Kitten admits going into rehab last year after the breakdown of her marriage to Bryan McFadden but is now looking forward to a new life with fiancé Mark Croft.
Her estranged mum Sue accused her of being 'an out-of-control coke-head', says The Daily Mirror. But, according to the newspaper's report, social services said: 'A referral stated your children were at risk...After further inquiries I am able to inform you there are no concerns regarding their welfare.'
Kerry's spokesman told The Mirror: 'There's been some very nasty things said but anyone who knows her knows she didn't deserve it.'
