Hollywood star Michael Douglas has confided that he and his wife have no intention of setting up home in Wales.
The couple live in Bermuda with children Dylan, six, and Carys, three, although they have still retained a home in Mumbles, Swansea, where Catherine grew up and her parents still live.
Speaking on BBC One's Breakfast, Michael revealed that he and Catherine aren't intending to relocate from Bermuda to be closer to his in-laws.
He said: 'We love our Welsh family and love the Welsh but it's always nice to keep a healthy distance. We enjoy the time in Wales when we're there.'
Since they married in 2000, the couple have visited Wales several times, and have shown a commitment to Catherine's country of birth, most notably through their role in fundraising for the Children's Hospital of Wales.
In June, Catherine officially opened the first phase of the new hospital in Cardiff.
