Johnny Depp has reportedly bought a house in Bath.
He has also been spotted looking around local schools with his French partner, Vanessa Paradis.
The actor has lived in France since the birth of the couple's daughter Lily-Rose seven years ago, but now they appear keen to move to England.
Johnny, 43, who also has a four-year-old son Jack with Vanessa, fell in love with the city while filming the movie Chocolat in 2000.
Born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, he has made it clear he will never return to his homeland. He says: ‘America is dumb. It's like a dumb puppy that has big teeth that can bite and hurt you, it's aggressive.’
Christine Penny, country house director at Hamptons International estate agents says: 'Bath is a beautiful city, with fantastic schools for Johnny's children. We've got some pretty famous names living here already - Van Morrison and Peter Gabriel to name but a few, so he'd be in good company.'
