Black Sabbath frontman and Macca won't sing together
Friday, 4 January 2008
BRIT bosses have rubbished reports that Sir Paul McCartney will duet with Ozzy Osbourne at this year’s event.
The pair were reported to be collaborating on a unique version of Bond theme Live And Let Die for the music bash at London's Earls Court on 20 February.
‘It is not true at all,’ says a spokesperson. ‘Someone made it up.’
Ozzy, 58 – who will be hosting the ceremony with wife Sharon, 55 – is still nervous because he's concerned about making a fool of himself in front of his idol.
‘The BRITs have been playing on Ozzy’s mind,’ a pal tells the Daily Star. ‘He’s worried about coming a cropper in front of Macca.’
Sir Paul, 65, will receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music gong.
