George Clooney's kisses sell for £360,000

Two lucky ladies locked lips with the star at Cannes auction

George Clooney last night auctioned off his luscious lips - raising a total of £360,000 for charity.

The actor was amongst a star-studded crowd at the auction thrown by Harvey Weinstein and Sharon Stone to benefit AIDS charity AmFAR at the 60th Cannes Film Festival.

Bidders, who'd already paid between $16,000 and $50,000 for a ticket to attend, were competing for a getaway package, when generous George, 46, offered to pucker up for the winner, too.

One woman's husband paid £180,000 for his wife to enjoy a smooch with the star, which obviously gave everyone else the idea, as he puckered up for a second time later on, doubling his contributions to £360,000.

Other stars also stepped up in the name of charity - Kylie performed an impromptu version of The Locomotion, raising £100,000.

The event raised a total of £7.5 million - not bad for one night's work.
