Easy-peasy tanning solutions

For a year-long sun-kissed glow, moisturising body lotions are the way to go. These all-in-one moisturisers and sunless tanners are quick, streak-free and easily fit in to your beauty routine...

I don’t know if you can remember, but until last summer you either had to go through the fake tan saga every three days or fry yourself on a sunbed to get an all-year-round golden glow. How things have changed! Now there’s a whole new beauty market – moisturising body lotions with a hint of a tan that can be used every day. And, yes, just for you, I’ve tried all the latest ones – here are my favourites…

L’Oréal Nutrisummer 24-hour Moisturising Lotion, £6.99 for 200ml – I loved the smell, but the colour was quite dark; Johnson’s Holiday Skin Body Lotion, £4.99 for 250ml – I applied this at night and woke up golden; Dove Summer Glow Body Lotion, £4.99 for 250ml – this one smelt lovely and gave the best colour; Olay Everyday Sunshine Body Moisturiser, £5.99 for 200ml – the lotion had to be rubbed in carefully, but it did give me a great colour.
