JK Rowling broke down in tears as she visited the spot where she wrote her first novel about boy wizard Harry Potter.
The talented writer – who's now worth an estimated £500 million - returned to the tiny Edinburgh flat where she penned Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone.
Despite her amazing worldwide success, the 42-year-old couldn't help crying as she remembered the financial pressures she was under as she struggled to make ends meet as a young single mum.
The moment has been captured in a new documentary about her life.
'This is really where I turned my life around,' she tells the film crew as she stands wet-faced.
'My life really changed in this flat. It was very hard and I didn't know there was going to be this fairytale resolution – and coming back here is full of ghosts.'
JK Rowling: A Year In The Life was screened on ITV on 30 December.
