Bryan Adams dedicates song to Amy Winehouse

Flower Grown Wild said to be about troubled singer

Bryan Adams has written a song about pal Amy Winehouse.

Flower Grown Wild, which features on new album 11, is said to be about the singer’s recent troubles.

‘She may look like a lady, but she's a flower grown wild,’ he sings. ‘Nobody saw the tears in your silk and lace, the scarred little kid behind your face.'

Amy, 24 - who his been snapped with new bruises and scratches this week - is believed to love the track.

It moved her so much that she’s agreed to perform it with Bryan, 48, when he starts his world tour later this year.

‘It's an unlikely friendship but Bryan has taken her under his wing, and he would be distraught if anything happened to her,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

Amy stayed at Bryan's Caribbean home over the New Year.
