1 Apply mousse, then tip head upside down and use a diffuser to dry the curls before backcombing hair from the front.
2 Using a bristle brush, smooth sides of hair upwards, working backwards and spritzing with hairspray to keep hair in place.
3 Secure sides of hair with grips, crossing for maximum hold. Define the shape by pulling into place while spritzing with hairspray.
