Singer doesn’t want to disappoint fans
Monday, 21 January 2008
Lily Allen is set to record her new TV pilot – just days after suffering a miscarriage.
The singer, 22, will go ahead with Wednesday’s taping of BBC3 show Lily Allen And Friends.
‘She’s incredibly low at the moment, but doesn’t want to let her fans down,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘It will be a very upbeat night so in a way it’s the tonic she needs.’
The programme - a magazine-style special featuring Lily’s MySpace friends grilling celebs and new bands - will be screened next month.
Lily lost the baby she was expecting with boyfriend Ed Simons, 37, last week.
