Heather Mills 'not distraught' over Paul's kiss

Her publicist says Sir Paul McCartney denies dating Nancy Shevell

Heather Mills is reported to be fuming over newspaper reports linking hubby Sir Paul McCartney to a married woman - but her publicist says she wishes him well.

Yesterday the Sun printed a front-page photograph of Macca, 65, leaning over to plant a kiss on close pal Nancy Shevell, 47, during a three-day break in the US.

It's claimed Heather, 39, called the Beatle, saying: ‘Why didn't you tell me?’

‘There was a huge row,’ alleges a pal close to the estranged couple. ‘Heather asked what the hell he thought he was up to.’

Sir Paul is said to have been shocked by her call.

‘He was utterly incredulous that she felt she could take the moral high ground after slagging him off on TV,’ the scource tells the Daily Mirrror.

Heather's US publicist confirms she spoke to Sir Paul, but denies she’s angry with him.

‘He swore to her it wasn't true,’ says the spokesman. ‘But even if it was, she says that he is a free man and he can do what he wants. She is not distraught.’

Nancy Shevell's lawyer husband Bruce Blakeman announced yesterday: ‘I am legally separated from her. The separation is amicable and mutual.’
