The singer refuses to be bullied into being thin
Sunday, 6 May 2007
Although Lily Allen loves receiving free gifts from designer fashion houses, she's not so keen on being dressed by them.
'It can be intimidating, because when you work with fashion people, they do kind of give you a sigh, as if to say, "Ugh, she's not really thin, this is going to be difficult",' she admits. 'It's annoying.'
But ever-defiant, the outspoken singer won't bow to the pressure to be stick thin.
Letting off steam to the Sunday Times Style magazine, she fumes: 'I'm 21 years old, I'm a pretty normal weight - leave me the f*** alone.'
Good point, Lily.
