Mentor Simon Cowell books her to sing on hit US show

Leona Lewis will appear on American Idol later this month.
X Factor mentor Simon Cowell, 48, has booked her to perform on the hit US show, on which he is a judge, reports The Sun.
The appearance comes as Leona, 22, is expected to top both the album and single charts in the States tomorrow – making her the first British female to achieve this.
Album Spirit has already sold over 200,000 copies, while single Bleeding Love, which is currently climbing back up the charts from No4, already spent a week at the top spot earlier this month.
