He was inspired by Michael Jackson at the time...

David Gest has spoken out for the first time about his cosmetic surgery, and says it was his good friend Michael Jackson who inspired him to take the plunge.
The 53-year-old went to see Jacko's plastic surgeon because he was unhappy with his nose.
'All of a sudden I decided to have a nose job and facelift in one operation, and have cheek implants and a cleft chin a week later,' he says.
The Grease Is The Word judge reckons he was so troubled with insecurities about his image that he went under the knife in 1981, but now thinks it was idiotic.
'I went ahead because I was unhappy. But if I could live my life again, I wouldn't do it,' he tells the Mirror.
'I now realise that I am who I am and it's what's on the inside that counts.'
