Actor embraces philosophical approach to life

Orlando Bloom has decided to give himself some time off from acting so he can follow a more spiritual path.
The 30-year-old, who follows Soka Gakka Buddhism and chants daily, wants to give himself time to reflect on the 'white knuckle ride' his life has become.
'The philosophy I've embraced isn't about sitting under a tree and studying my navel,' he says. 'It's about studying what's going on in my life and using the fuel to go on and live a bigger life.
'I've been white knuckling it for so long. Between the first Lord Of The Rings and the last Pirates Of The Caribbean, I've been going non stop.
'So now I just want some time and space from everything and the phone and the communication.'
Well, we wouldn't mind some time and space either Orlando. But unfortunately, unlike you, we need to go to work to pay the bills.
