Josie strokes John James' hair in The Snug

Oh, JJ, let me run my fingers through your gorgeous sweaty curls

John James and Josie are hard to tear apart

The housemates were convinced that Big Brother had a Big Plan.

After Pineapple's Andrew Stone heard all the contestants sing,  they were sure John James and Josie were being groomed for musical stardom as a romantic duo.

Mario was definitely miffed.

Wrong! Guest mentor Andrew - not to be confused with anyone from Steps or S Club, Corin - actually picked the best singers in the house to lead in the musical video.

Steve and Rachel got the parts and were both chuffed.

John James certainly looked relieved.

Images of himself in a tux singing Especially For You to Josie in a meringue wedding dress undoubtedly flashed through his mind. 

Phew!

Still, long distance relationships never work out, housemate Andrew is very keen to convince Josie, who pretends to agree.

Trouble is, whenever John James does actually take off the woolly hat he insists on wearing during a baking British summer, her fingers are just itching to run through his hair.

'They're taking the piss right out of me,' Josie told JJ when she thought she was going to be the next Kylie Minogue.

'No, it's not like you've said you're in love or anything,' the Aussie hunk reassured her.

Ummm, hello, JJ.
