The X Factor: John and Edward Are Out

John and Edward crash out of the X Factor after losing out to Olly in the sing off...

John and Edward Grimes
The X Factor: John and Edward Grimes AKA Jedward AKA Rubbish

Bye! See ya! Aufedersein! Goodbye! Au revoir! So long! Don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out! John and Edward are no more.

While I am clearly thrilled at the result I do feel that this week was Lloyd's week to go. Shocking, I know.

His performance of Faith was weak to say the least and he's a nice enough boy, but not quite up to the other competitiors.

Don't get me wrong, I wanted Jedward out and I'm not saying that their performance meant they should still be there. While I have heard people claim that they sang better this week, I think the sing off proved that they were still tone deaf. Clearly the backing track had just been turned up behind them when they performed on Saturday. I got the impression even Louis Walsh knew their time was up.

Anyway, there's cash to be made out there. John and Edward will make a mint out of it, so they don't need to worry. Oh joy. I'll never be rid of them.

Back to the show I am stunned that Olly was in the bottom two. I wasn't overly keen on his rendition of Fast Love and I'm starting to get a bit tired of the hip thrusts and tight trousers. However, he definitely wasn't a bottom two performer. Also, although I may not have loved the song, I'd rather he didn't go back to doing Simon Cowell's retro choices.

Stacey was great again. Her voice does seem to get better by the week although I wish Dannii would choose some more exciting songs for her. Meanwhile, Joe put in another note perfect performance. I am concerned though that he might win and we don't want that now, do we.

Danyl's performance of Careless Whisper was brilliant. I don't know what on earth Cheryl was thinking saying he was flat.

I want to see him dance now. If he can pull that off then I'd like to think he was a contender, but I think that the bad press and rumours is always going to go against him. Shame.

Dannii vs Cheryl: Oh dear Cheryl, it's all gone wrong again hasn't it. Stop wearing the stupid body shaping dresses and what the hell was that hair bow thing? Dannii meanwhile is looking classy and was sporting yet another lovely hairstyle. Hands down: Dannii wins!
