It's good to have Louis Walsh back. The X Factor was lacking something last week without him. Sadly that wasn't John and Edward, but you can't have everything I suppose.
So lets go through the performances for Big Band week...
Olly was up first and he just gets better and better. Not only does he seem to get better looking, but sang brilliantly, danced well and oozed charisma. Shame about the strange tight trousers though.
Having said that the sight of him wandering around in his underpants on the Xtra Factor was eye watering, especially with the added information that he'd had to shave his nipples. Form an orderly queue now boys and girls!
I know the girls all love Lloyd, but I wasn't that impressed this week and a backflip in the middle of Fly Me To The Moon was just weird. He is very pretty though, which I think will see him through.
Miss Frank were back on form this week. Graziella looked particularly amazing and they really came together as a band. However, I know I'm in the minority here, but I thought Graziella's rap in the middle jarred a bit with the song. I love her rapping and they did have to bring it back in, but for me I'm not sure this was the week to do it.
Rachel pulled it back from the brink tonight. I didn't realise she was only 18 and I'd like to stand up for her against the people who said she was copying Stacey tonight by being a bit crazy. That's just how she was when we met the final 12, so it's not put on, she is just a little bit mental. In a lovely way of course.
Poor Jamie Afro. A song change at the last minute. U2's Angel Of Harlem wasn't a big band song and it wasn't his best performance. However, I still love him and think considering all of the above he put in a damn good performance and showed his experience.
Stacey looked amazing tonight. I wasn't sure about the song though and I would like to have seen her do more. Although, I get the impression that in that dress it would have been difficult to even go to the loo, especially when she announced that she couldn't even bend over in it! I love Stacey and she'll get through because everyone loves Stacey, but I'd like to see her do more.
Danyl was brilliant again tonight. He can sing, move and he looked better than ever. I don't get all the Danyl haters, although this will probably mean that he is secretly evil and I've just missed it.
The Perspex stairs are back! This week Joe got the joy was walking up and down them and while he gave great vocal and there's no doubt he can sing, I still don't quite get it. Rather than sexy I thought it was a bit cheesy. Sorry.
Lucie surprised me tonight. I thought she was a dead cert for the bottom two, but she sang brilliantly and looked amazing. I'm still missing something with her though.
However, I think as with Joe and Rachel, it could just be because they're still young and there are so many good performers this year who have more experience than them.
Finally John and Edward or Jedward as I believe the kids are calling them these days. I still hate them. Once again they can't sing, they can't dance, what can they do?
I get the guilty pleasure / comedy aspect and Louis is going all out with the camp factor with them, but they still upset my eardrums - and my stomach. Enough. Please.
However, this week I'm not sure who'll make the bottom two. Some of the acts who gave the worst performances have the most fans , so we shall see...
PS:Dannii vs Cheryl update: Dannii this week has come out fighting and beat both Cheryl on hair and dress. Extra points were awarded for being nice to Louis. Verdict: Dannii wins
