Poor Louis Walsh. He really got the worst category imaginable this year didn't he?
Out of his six acts Miss Frank are the only ones who have a chance to make it. They have a good sound, although I'm always a bit concerned about a band who have been put together from solo artists. Kandy Rain suffer from the fact that I don't think many girls will vote for a bunch of ex strippers even if they don't do it any more. Meanwhile, Project A are OK, but they're not going to set the world on fire [although the dark haired one looks remarkably like Saffia who walked out of Big Brother don't you think?].
Harmony Hood just didn't pull it out of the bag and De Tour remind me of Journey South. That can never end well.
Finally John and Edward. I hate them. I don't feel sorry for them that they cried after they monumentally messed up in front of Ronan and Louis.
They are vile little creatures [copyright Simon Cowell]. They can't sing, they haven't got the likeability factor [copyright Louis Walsh] and I'd like them to go away. Now. Please.
Over in the under 25 boys catagory and Cheryl Cole's got a tough call on her hands.
Joseph surely is a dead cert - well he is from the north east after all. Duane messed up a little bit, but I like him. Ricky had brought back the hat [how many of those ridiculous flat caps does he have by the way?] but despite looking silly, he did put in a good performance. I just worry there's a bit of the Leon Jackson's about him.
I really like Lloyd, but I agree that he might be a bit young. Ethan from America just didn't cut it for me and I really don't get Daniel. I understand that he can sing, but I don't think he's very X Factor. He's a bit too Rhydian, but without the weirdness. Good choice on Cheryl with Will Young though - surely the perfect mentor?
Surprise, surprise. Dannii Minogue's celebrity mentor was Kylie. Who would have guessed it, eh? They did both look rather fabulous though. Nice hair. Still, shame about the botox.
I really like Stacey from Essex, she's got a great voice and is just the right side of a little bit mental. I hope she makes it.
Lucie has a good voice too, but I'm not sure how well she would cope if it wasn't a ballad? I felt bad for Despina when she messed up, however she gave the impression she was doing it more for her family than for herself.
Nicole and Rachel did themselves proud, but I think Rachel just has the edge. Maybe it's because she has hair like Rihanna? Either way, she's definitely got something about her.
Finally it's the over 25's and isn't it a shock that this year Simon Cowell got by far the best group. Anyone would have thought it was his show. Oh.
What wasn't a surprise was Sinitta showing up in a completely ridiculous outfit. Oh Sinitta, I didn't think you could top the gold bikini, but clearly I was wrong. Nothing but a few leaves covered her modesty this time. She must have a ton of dirt on Simon, otherwise I don't know why he lets her get away with it. She is completely mental, but I kind of love her for that. Also I once put on my facebook status that I was waiting to interview her and that's got the most responses I have ever had.
Anyway every single singer in Simon's group deserved to get to the final. However, the ones that just edged it for me were Olly, Jamie and Danyl. Nicole and Treyc were amazing and I really want Daniel to succeed [despite the dodgy Mohican]. Oh I don't know I want them all to go through. Tomorrow, all will be revealed...
