MTV's new reality show has Calum Best staying celibate for fame...

After the carnage that was Totally Jodie Marsh: Who'll Take Her Up The Aisle and the car crash that was Kerry Katona: Crazy In Love, I thought reality TV had finally hit an all time low.
However, our friends at MTV have proved they can plumb the depths even further with their latest celebrity offering - Totally Calum Best: The Best Is Yet To Come.
I'd already heard they were making a TV show with the celebrity shagger where the famed lothario tried to prove that there is more to him than just pulling models and celebs like Lindsay Lohan and Sarah Harding. Calum is prepared to do this by going without sex for 50 days, which I can only imagine will make him explode.
I can't imagine there is more to him than shagging to be honest. I've met him and I would say he was decidedly dull.
However, nothing prepared me for the sight of the promotional poster that I was sent today of Calum complete with a chastity belt. Disturbing doesn't even cover it.
Why do these celebs never learn? Like Jodie, Lisa Scott Lee and all the boyband members before him, an MTV Totally show basically means a stitch up. Oh well, at least their hunger for fame gives us something to laugh at, although I'm hoping the joke hasn't finally worn out...
