Lee McQueen is Sir Alan’s new Apprentice - now that’s what I’m talking about. I have to say I don’t really think any of the final four are truly business geniuses and although Claire was a very strong contender, I think the best man won.
I’d almost forgotten that Claire was always on the losing team and Lee had actually led his team to victory three times and never been in the boardroom, which shows good editing on the part of the producers. He might not have been the brightest of the contestants, and although his attack on Sara way back initially put me off him, I’m glad he got the job. Although I still feel it’s a shame that Rafe and Simon didn’t get more of a chance.
I think the fact that I actually gave a little whoop of joy when Alex was fired said it all. As my friend texted me to point out at least it means, the ‘agile’ 24-year old can go back to his paper round now. Did I mention he was only 24 by the way. Surely a child genius?
Meanwhile, Helene said that Alex is moody and uncommunicative. Look in the mirror much love?
I’ve also been wondering if all the candidates have previously attended the Gordon Ramsay school of business. All the women are obsessed with having balls and being ballsy.
Even Lee pitched in this week when describing the man they would be selling the aftershave to and describing him thus: ‘He might have a back, sack and crack. He definitely shaves his balls.’ What a beautiful image. Although not quite as graphic as Lee’s directing style on the advert shoot, which was akin to porn.
