The more time goes on, on Shipwrecked the more I grow to dislike the Sharks or, to be precise, Lauren, Adam and Tom.
Adam can’t help it I suppose. He was born to be a redcoat. He’s constantly auditioning for his big light entertainment break that will never come. He might actually be a nice person behind that, I just can’t see it for all the cheese.
Tom on the other hand continues to prove himself to be the most arrogant and self important islander Shipwrecked has ever had. After kicking off and causing the trouble over his plan to win the islanders over when he was a Tiger, now he’s at it again. After saying what scum the others were for using underhand tactics, there he is promising one of the new arrivals that if they picked Sharks their place was secured. He really is a total hypocrite.
However, his plan was ruined by the equally irritating Lauren. Oh well.
She didn’t endear herself to me from the start when she bullied Deva into choosing Sharks knowing that was the only island she stood a chance on. Each week she has gone on to become more and more irritating finally reaching her peak at this week’s beach party.
Despite everyone agreeing that they would accept Adelena over Jamie, just because she didn’t get her way she moaned until everyone voted again and – surprise, surprise – this time she won. Jamie was made a Shark while Adelena was uncreremoniously kicked off, with only the Tiger girls to comfort her. What goes around comes around I suppose.
However, I’m not happy with Adelena either and it's all Lauren's fault. Adelana has messed up the harmony on my beloved Hawk Island with her lazy ways and I'm not happy. Watch it lady or next week you and me are going to have some words.
